Steve Azar
Principal | Co-founder
Steve is a co-founder and Principal at Ambient, with responsibilities for acquisitions, fundraising and company operations. Over a 12-year career in real estate, Steve has amassed a wide skill set, with experience in portfolio management, acquisitions and dispositions, asset management and capital markets.
Prior to Ambient, Steve was a Senior Vice President and Co-Portfolio Manager of Stockbridge Capital Group's supply-chain-oriented industrial fund, which focused on the IOS asset class. Before that, Steve acted as Global Head of Real Estate for XPO Logistics. Steve has a B.A. in Finance from Miami University and is a CFA Charterholder.
Patrick Hackett
Principal | Co-founder
Patrick is a co-founder and Principal at Ambient, with responsibilities for acquisitions, capital markets and asset oversight. Patrick has 15 years of real estate experience, including acquisitions, capital markets, asset management and corporate M&A.
Patrick was previously a Senior Vice President at Stockbridge Capital Group, where he was an acquisitions officer covering all asset types and leading the firm's efforts in the IOS category, while also overseeing all firm-wide financing activity as Head of Capital Markets. Prior to Stockbridge, Patrick worked at UBS Investment Bank. Patrick has a B.S. in Finance and Accounting from Georgetown University.
Ellie Perlin
Vice President
Ellie is a Vice President at Ambient, with responsibilities for acquisitions and asset management. Ellie has over 8 years of experience in real estate, including acquisitions, dispositions and asset management.
Ellie was previously at STAG Industrial, where she opened the Chicago office and was responsible for sourcing and executing industrial acquisitions in Chicago and the greater Midwest. Prior to that, Ellie was at Lincoln Property Company where she focused on acquisitions and asset management nationally on behalf of multiple joint venture and separate account clients. Ellie has a BBA in Real Estate from the University of Wisconsin Madison and serves as a NAIOP DL Board Member.
